Red Shed Brewery Cooperstown Taproom to Close
After 7 great years of welcoming many friends, patrons, and visitors to our iconic beer garden in Cooperstown, we have decided to close this location effective on December 7th of 2024. We have been happy to provide everyone with the best we have had to offer: a pleasant outdoor/indoor garden, local music, great beer, good food, and a willing and friendly staff.
It is our intent to continue to earn your patronage at the following locations:
The original and sometimes hard-to-find Brewery Taproom with an unsurpassed garden and views, our great beers, picnic tables and food.
The Ale House in downtown Cherry Valley with a pub feel complete with food, ales that you have come to love, and the addition of British-style Cask Ales served from authentic British pulls at cellar temperature.
Exciting things are coming in 2025!!
Thanks….Be well and hope to see you soon.

We opened our second location in 2017, due to the popularity of our beer, to serve our Cooperstown customers. The Cooperstown Taproom is located on County Highway 33, less than half a mile down the road from Brewery Ommegang. Our “Fresh Eats” food trailer serves a full dining menu to complement our 20 taps of craft beer and other beverages from local producers. We’re always looking for a reason to party and have a weekly line-up of events and entertainment. In the summer, our dog-friendly outdoor beer garden is open for customers of all ages with yard games, fire pit and a large party tent.
